It is primarily observed in India, Nepal, and other regions of the world with significant populations of Indian origin. The festival has, in recent times, spread to different parts of Europe and North America as a spring celebration of love, frolic, and colors.
At UF, Holi is celebrated on much larger scale with around 800-1000 people attending the event including students from other nationality.
